Christmas with the Ross Ceiligh Band Christmas often brings back fond memories of days gone by, and in today's hectic society, it's nice to reminisce of those simpler times. When friends and family would gather from far and wide to celebrate this joyous holiday. And whether it was from a religious stand point, or just for the sake of a party, the magic of the season would and still brings friends and families together. This Album consists of songs that we've enjoyed for many years, and each time we've played them it seems the magic of Christmas once again cause us to reflect on the many memories of years past.

Oh Katie Dear 2007 we found ourselves in the studio once again, with a new member and a new sound. The addition of Chris Stoyles (Drums & Percussion) seemed to give the band a more modern/edgier sound. Oh Katie Dear was released in June 2007, and once again local radio responded well. The title track received regular play and our rendition of Stan Rodger's "Fogarty's Cove" was popular with the weekly request shows, along with an original song written by Gerard titled "My Special Place." |

The Roads of Kildare
We started 2006 in the studio once again. But our focus was on an album that would show people what we were about, who we were so to speak. Song selection was more intense. We chose songs that meant something to us personally, songs that we enjoyed playing night after night. And although it was a little more laid back than our previous album, we were quite pleased with the end result. "The Roads of Kildare", was released in April 2006. And as with our first album, local radio was exceptionally supportive. A Song for all Lovers, Come With Me (Molly), and The Roads of Kildare, all made it to regular airplay. Other tracks such as, Dublin in my Tears, You and I, and Constant Memory, were also requested on the weekend radio shows.

The Besta' Rough Gear
The release of, "The Besta' Rough Gear", was June, 2005. And was truly a milestone for the band, and we reaped some success from it. We received tremendous support from local radio stations, Vandieman's Land, The liar, Now is the Hour, and our rendition of Johnny McEvoy's, As Soon as I Can, all received exceptional airplay, both in regular rotation and on the request lines. And the album seemed to go over well and sold better than we had hoped.
